Digitizing 3D papercraft

For the last few years, I've been heavily involved in 3D papercraft. I have also for many years been doing sewing and other crafts. Now I've decided to combined both 3D papercraft and sewing into one... I'm going to be digitizing some 3D free papercraft into 3D freestanding machine lace embroidery.

Owl! Free embroidery for Brother.

Hey everyone.

Seems the word "free" and "Embroidery" has caused a few people to come look at my blog. LOL Amazing....

Anywho, here is the first free embroidery pattern!  An owl. :D  Now, he hasn't been sown out yet, but I will post pictures when I do. But for the time being, here he is. :D  You can download the pes file from here..

 Now.. he's not the right colour, but you can change your colours to suit. :)

If you want it as a different format, comment below and I'll upload a different version. :D

Giggle and Hoot Embroidered face and soft pillow pattern.

Madly trying to make up a "Hoot" doll from Giggle and Hoot for my great nieces first birthday. First version was a frightening failure...

So, after a bit of searching on line, I decided to make a flat version. a cushion with embroidered features.

I'm very pleased with it so far..

Sewing room

Finally after a very long time, my sewing room is finally in some sort of order.  Took me a couple if days, but I got there. 
Now I can test sew embroidery patterns.

Free embroidery machine pattern / file !

I am offering my digitizing services and giving people a chance to turn their favourite drawing into a domestic embroidery machine file.

Send an email to embroidery@pcgirl.com.au with a picture less than 1mg and the file extension that you need.

The boring bits...
1. Pictures must be simple. I have the right to simplify the drawing.
2. Non-commercial only.
3. No guarantees that the file will sew out without issues.
4. One per household.
5. I have the right to reject the drawing without explanation.
5. No "urgent" requests.  Turn a round will be between 1 day and 1 week, depending on demand.
6. Offer expires on 1st January 2013.
7. These conditions may change without notice.

Home brewed embroidery files.

I'm going to be posting some home brewed embroidery files. They won't be tested,  so feedback is necessary. 

You will also need to email me for a password to open the file. This is entirely just so I can see how many download the file. Im not even sure if this blog is being read. Lol

Duramine - failed experiment.

Well. After reading some more blogs about this drug, I've decided not to continue. It's only been 3 days, so I should be ok to just stop. My body hasn't adjusted to them and I don't like the feeling. It's too close to how I felt when taking those anti-depressants.I feel like someone has my head in a vice. I have no energy and just feel lousy.

Every other person who tried them and felt lousy ended up with massive depression. I would rather be fat!

So, if you are actually reading this, stay off them. I gave it shot, but I wouldn't recommend them.

Day 3

It's close to the end of day three and I'm feeling pretty lousy. I've had massive twitches all day around the eyes and my ears are playing up.  I'm constantly feeling like I've got something sitting just above my stomach and I'm hungry.  I'm also feeling a little down, but I think that's because I feel overtired. Got a bit teary today when the boss told me that I talk too much. :s

On the up side, I haven't had any hay fever symptoms and I've not been suffering from massive stomach issues. I seem to have less wind and am not sitting on the toilet all day.

The scales aren't showing any changes, but then again, I haven't done any exercise or changed my eating habits.

Last night I didn't sleep the best - kept waking up from around 3am. Really annoying. It seemed like my brain wanted to wake up, but my body didn't want t move. Hope it's not going to happen for too long.

Time will tell.

Day 2 Weight loss drugs

Half way through day 2 and feeling fine. Can't figure out what all the fuss was about. From what I can gather, it doesn't build up in the body and other than possibly developing a psychological need for it, it's not addictive.

Still got the same feelings as if I had taken nurofen plus or Panadeine. Slight headache, a bit of eye fuzzyness and dryness in the mouth. I'm also occasionally getting a feeling a little like tingling all over. Like a massive feeling of happiness. It's not distracting, a little weird, but not something I'd get used to.

Because of my ankle, I can't run like I wanted to on the machine. So, I'm going to use the bike and rowing machine. If I spend half an hour jumping between the 2, I should then at least have some exercise.

Weighed myself last night and I was at 92kg. I put this down to fluid retention.  Normally in the morning immediately after a shower, I am 90kg - which was the amount this morning.  Will not weigh myself when I get home - will now wait until the weekend.

Duramine day 1

Today is the first day of my trial of Duramine.(Metermine) I took it at 6.45 this morning and now at 8.25 all I feel is hungry. Not feeling much different otherwise.

Well... maybe a little buzzed. But no.more than of I had taken a nurofen plus. :)

It's the end of the day and other than feeling a little "burpy" like I've just taken a capsule tablet, I feel pretty normal. I'm as tired as I would normally be, my back aches as usual and my feet ache as usual.

The only thing different, is I don't have a headache. Normally at this time of the day, I'd have a headache - especially after a red bull (which I had earlier), but nothing. :D I'm pretty happy about that.  Oh, I also seem to have noticeable ringing in my ears. It's only noticable when I'm in a quiet room, but it's louder than usual. This seems to be in the list of side effects.

Man, I keep forgetting I have this thing.

Why do I have a blog - I don't know.

My nephews daughter had her 9lb daughter yesterday. Faith.  That manlkes her my great great niece I think. Never thought I'd see the day.

Been back at work for 5.5 months. It's flown past. Anthony is either a lot easier to deal with or I'm seek.g things a lot easier. I'd like to think a little of both.

Saw Hills Musical  Theatre Companys version of Sweeney Todd last night. Not one of their better shows. Sucked a bit, actually. What was with the zombie makeup?  Hmm

Mobile phones and loss of control.

Well, after only 1 month I discovered what its like to have an astronomical excess data charge.
