The Great Moving of the Bees!!
Well, they are finally in the hive and I think they are going to stay there this time.
Took me 2 days to get them there. I seemed to have missed the queen the first time, but this time, there are no bees in the cavity at all. And to make sure that none of them land there again, I've sprayed it with insecticide to stop them from landing and calling to the others.
The top bar hive with bees in it.
And on it..... (That is the gap between the lid and the box - I think that they think it's the back door.)

Before moving them..

Beehive!
A month or so ago, a bee swarm moved into the car bed at the end of our driveway. I won't kill them off, and it was too expensive to have someone come and remove them - so I decided to keep them . :)
Yesterday, my husband made me a top bar hive. :D Today, I'll go and collect the bee top and move the little fuzzies into their new home - the biggest thing I'm worried about, is whether they will stay there. But if not, I've got another swarm all lined up. :)
